Company History

Sanborn Electric Co was founded in 1871 by Gerald Sanborn. Also hailing from Balkhari, SECO's early focus was on stationary engines and other agricultural equipment. Over their 30-year history they made a quick pivot to focus on their best-selling products, their line of heavy tractors. Eventually becoming the powerful traction engines they are known for today. Though aware their equipment is used as a platform for war and the Empire's expansion, they maintain a position of neutrality. Refitting of equipment by third parties for unintended purposes is not their concern.

Contract

We are pleased to inform you that the contract to deliver supplies to Outpost Zed has been reinstated. The traction engine for the land train is being fitted for the climate at a local machine shop called "Aarakocra Automotive." You are to head there as soon as the SECO team arrives in Al'Sumas.

The freight carriages have been loaded and are being stored in a nearby SPTC hanger. The cargo is a supply of rations, munitions, and two(2) SECO MK-IV diesel generators. Conduct a thorough inspection of the engine and equipment before you depart.

The destination is Outpost Zed, a remote trading post on the edge of the Northern Frontier. You are to deliver the cargo as quickly and safely as possible, avoiding any unnecessary confrontations with the natives or other dangers along the way.
